TCAS Alerts on Own Aircraft on P3D 3.0

Before I get lynched, I know the CS767/757 are not officially supported on P3D, but I am now a Windows 10 user and I have P3D 3.0 as my ownly simulator.

Everything works fine  Wink except that my TCAS recognizes my own aircraft as a traffic alert, so if I want to have to use the TCAS I will have to keep hearing

TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC, CLIMB, DESCEND, CLIMB, DESCEND

Obviously very annoying.

So, I believe that this aircraft is very much alive and that (Hopefully) the CS crew realizes it and builds an updated version with P3D compatibility.

In the mean time, perhaps someone can tell me what I can do to either correct the gauge parameters to detect aircraft further away, perhaps someone can tell me if I can change the TCAS gauge with a freeware one that will work with this bird.

Any tips and advise can help.

Thank you

And Captainsim Take my money! Rebuild the 757/767

I have the same issue in P3D V3.  Any ideas for a fix?

This might be something, I just installed CS757 into p3dv3 and during my first flight I did not have the issue, on the second flight I did. One difference between flights was that I changed my 757 to the winglet model. I have not tried switching back yet.

Also my cockpit sound effects don't work in P3D. I configured the dll.xml file but no joy.

I found the issue to be the Avatar Mode. If it is enabled when you start P3D the TCAS will have an issue.

To resolve turn off Avatar Mode and restart P3D, the TCAS will then work properly.

The 767 is officially not compatible with P3D. We do not support any issues.

OFF COURSE!!!! Cheesy I can't believe I didn't think of that. Thank you so much! I finally will be able to fly my favorite aircraft.

@Captainsim2
I know its not supported but I thought I would give it a try to see if anyone had a fix. Luckily someone did. Thank you however. I hope we do get an update to this bird
