727 cockpit windows

Hi Captain Sim,

Thanks for the update, which I installed today, following your instructions, from 2.6 to 2.7.

However after installing v2.7 I ran fsx just to make sure everything had installed properly and noticed what might be a bug.

Sitting on the runway, I clicked the clickspot for the cockpit windows, either side it doesn't matter, but no movement, I get the sound of the windows opening and closing but no animation. I then pulled up the tool icons, shift+2, and the animations button "A" and clicked on "cockpit windows", I now get the animation working of the windows opening and closing but no sounds.

Please can you tell me if this is indeed a bug and if there is any fix known to you.

Keep up the good work, thanks for the update.

regards,

David Phillips.

Hi Speck,

Further to my last post, I downloaded v2.7 again, fresh install and everything, started up fsx and the 727 and great working cockpit windows, everything just as it should be. However I then went on a short 20 min flight and when I landed at my destination, I was back to the original problem.

I will have to try another flight soon. Anyway thanks for your comment.

Hello,

You can try the "Double-Load" Trick. When you have first load your flight, load the same flight again in that flight  Wink

I have to do this always because the switches always in the reset (Default) positions at the first load. This "problem" occurs also at my 707.
