I agree with you, and thanks for heads up about ASN and the INS I was just having the same issue. Now it is fun to do an ILS landing, which it now does almost hands free (keep yours hands on the throttle). Smiley

No more re-loading the aircraft for sounds!

The loss of electrical is fixed, too.   Cool

I just installed 2.5 and all looks good with my first very quick look around but one thing is curious.  I cannot get the flaps gauge to work.  The flap lever moves, the flaps themselves move but the gauge stays in the "up" position.  Anyone else have this issue.

All I need to do now is add the CIVA INS and think about the air file.

Which gauge are you referring to? The round one to the right of the EPR gauges?
Did you reboot your computer after installing the v2.5 update?

Yes restarted.  Yes, the two gauges to the right of the EPR (above the 3 red lights).

Also just noticed as it was mentioned elsewhere the heading bug does not move.  I think I need to delete everything and try again. I had a bit of a bastardized install into Steam that I did by copy paste and I will bet that is messing things up.

Just to clarify, the verions 2.4 that I moved from FSX to FSX-SE was the strange install and this is what I probably did not fully remove.

Well, for what it's worth, I uninstalled and then reinstalled v2.5 (a couple of times even) and also had the heading bug not working.
I re-booted and then all was good again.

Don't know why...

One very minor problem - when I attempt to select the Air Stairs, located to lower right in the animations (A) icon, the Main Door opens or closes.  The Air Stairs when selected from the upper left work as they should.

If I select the red ALL from the animations icon, the rear stairs come down like they should.  Very minor issue on a very excellent update to the CS727!!   Smiley Smiley

There are several posts mentioning that cleaning all leftovers from the Registry was required. How do I do this safely? Right now I'm DOA with 2.5

Wonderful update. I very much appreciate the fixes and the additions and had a great time last night doing flights in it.
My only problem to date is the same as mark767 is having (see above). The flap gauges do not seem to work - the flaps themselves do work.

To fix the registry issues, use an uninstall program, e.g. Advanced Uninstaller, and it will find leftover registry keys. Select only the ones that are part of this aircraft. Then reinstall the aircraft and then restart computer, this is what worked for me, in my case the flap gauges and a CTD with the freighter. All is working fine now after I did that.

I am now having trouble.  Three flights in the -200F variant.  Flying from KCLE to KLGA.   All three flights when I get into the New York metro area, around 60-80 miles from KLGA, FSX crashes with the spinning disk and the "a fatal error occurred " message.

Bummer.    Undecided

So I uninstalled and re-installed again, this time leaving everything bone stock.

Every time I try to fly this flight, with any of the 727 package variants, I am getting the fatal error as I get to the NY metro area.  Usually between 55 and 80 miles from KLGA.

Can anyone confirm if you can make this flight all the way to approach and landing?  The routing is:

KCLE-FAILS-JFN-ETG-MIP-MARRC-BILEY-VIBES-FJC-LIZZI-BEUTY-HARLM-DREMS-APPLE-PROUD
-KLGA

The farthest I've gotten is 55 miles from LGA Vor.
Then I get the Fatal Error Has Occurred message and the spinning disk thingy. Cry

I am flying with the FSX ATC.
