CS 767 in P3D 2.5

Hi,

I have been trying to install the 767 in P3D. I can install it, but the only issue i have is that the Speed Dial and Altitude Dial have 000 across them. I cant get them to the correct state where the Speed Dial says 200 and the Altitude Dial says 10000. I have tried reloading the aircraft as suggested in previous threads.I installed the 767 in FSX and FSX:Steam and i didn't have this issue.

Haris.

Did you use the Estonia Migration tool to convert it over.. That's how I got into my P3D originally & everything pretty much seemed to work fine..

Yes i did use the migration tool.  The 767 works flawlessly in FSX:Steam but in P3D the install procedure is flawless, but the panel just wont load up correctly.

Hello,
for me CS767 does work with P3D 2.5 but I have encountered, one problem. My CS767's fmc is blank it only shows the neon green boxes when you switch from page to page, but no words on the screen. Almost like it's missing textures...
Thanks!
KH

Here is how to configure it to fully work in P3D v2.5:
Install it normally, or just copy all the Captain Sim directories from FSX folder to P3D.
Then after this go to your directory X:\Users\yourwindowsaccount\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\
there you will find this file called dll.xml, open it with notepad and admin rights and in its end lines add the next code before this code line </SimBase.Document> click save,  then almost everything should work, here the bleed air unit and ground power unit wont work.
  <Launch.Addon>
           <Name>Captain Sim 767 Menu</Name>
           <Disabled>False</Disabled>
           <Path>Captain_Sim\Captain_Sim.b767.menu.dll</Path>
     </Launch.Addon>
Your installation must be registered in your windows register.

OR even WITH the migration tool?

I am trying to get the demo to work.  I read that this CS767 works well in P3D v2 but I want to get the demo version working before I go all in on the purchase.

The demo is very limited as I recall in FSX. I have got the full version  working OK in P3D v 2.5 using the migration tool.
I believe that when you buy the package, the demo version must be deleted. Cheesy

Yes I really didn't get the point of the demo either, I must agree.  Anyway, I took the plunge and it worked, with a little help from our Estonian friends.

Now I need to learn to use the darn autopilot, but I can say that about the overwhelming majority of the planes I own.

Is there any sort of update status of 767 V2.0? All i see is a wish list post about it. Is it in actual development? Well along in progress or just started?  So badly needing a good 767 in prepar3d.

I bought the plane in the recent sale and have tried to manually get it working in p3dv3. its all installed etc but the screens are black, autopilot numbers not changing when dial turned.

you say "Your installation must be registered in your windows register"
How do I do this since I have manually installed it to FSX on the laptop then transfered the files to another computer

with thanks
