Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition is on sale now.

Good deal for those who do not have it.

Our 777 Captain and 737 Captain are now FSX SE compatible.

My gosh. I haven't been on here for four years, and I tried to install FSX when I built this machine, but with Windows 8 it won't work.  I saw the deal and snatched it Tongue

So only the 777 and 737 are compatible? Oh well...

The others might work ok, just not guaranteed to run perfectly on FSX-SE (possibly a few issues). Most of them work very well on my copy of FSX-SE, but I also have them installed in FSX as well, which might be why they work so well. If you own a copy of any other Captain Sim product, you can install it and see how it goes.

I think ythat the only one I didn't have working at all was Weapon for FSX, but since some patches, that might work now. I just haven't tried it for quite a while. Wink

Sad Weapons for FSX was one of my favourites... Oh well...

Also, will other 3rd party texture packs work, and will there be big multiplayer servers, where anyone can join a server and basically land in St. Maarten?

Thanks

I'll let you know if it works. I must admit that I did not install it in FSX-SE, but copied it over to there from FSX.

Textures from 3rd parties should work fine. I believe there is, or will be, a multiplayer capability. I don't play muliplayer with it (I've never even looked into it).
