Do you mean some kind of reverser doors or something visible from the outside when the reverse thrust is activated after touch down?
As far as i know, Boeing had big problems with reverses on the 727 during the test flight program, so they designed a reverser system, which was not visible from the outside, you will only recognize the metallic grille in the cowlings.
Only the reengined 727s had a clam-shell door system on engines no.1 and no.3.
But here are some real 727 experts, they can explain much better than i can.

Hi Matthias: thanks for your reply.

I am not sure if the cowling are only available on the 200 ver. I see here they are on the Super 27, and here is a screenshot of my 727-100 after landing, Iam holding the F2 key:

After doing some research apparently the engines that had this type of reversers were fitted onto the 200 series, they were: The JT8D-217 engines.

Bernardo, this was answered almost 5 years ago!  Shocked

All the early 727-100's had blocker doors. They were REALLY good at stopping the plane, but the stress and resulting maintenance on the mechanism caused most airlines to switch to the cascade system. The CS 727 is modeled correctly.
