Ace and Fuel

Hello,

In the ACE (aircraft configuration editor) of the C-130, must there be a ''Fuel'' tab ?. I don't have one, so I can't fill the C-130 up. Got only 45% of fuel when I start FSX.

Please help.

Greets,

Hello,

Found something on the forums, it is exact the same problem. Only no solution yet.

I've found it here:

Greets,

And it isn't possible to change it to 100% in the "Fuel and Payload"-Dialog?

Check the following section in your aircraft.cfg, it should be look like this for all models:

[fuel]
fuel_type=2
number_of_tank_selectors=4
electric_pump=1
fuel_dump_rate=0.00085
engine_driven_pump=0
External1=  -0.75, -25.49,  -7.03,  1400.00,   10   // EXT Left
LeftAux=    -0.75, -25.49,  -2.03,   910.00,    9   // Aux Left
LeftTip=     0.00, -16.86,  -2.09,  1350.00,   10   // Tank 1
Center2=    13.64,   0.00,  -4.19,  1240.00,   10   // Tank 2
Center3=   -20.95,   0.00,  -4.19,  1240.00,   10   // Tank 3
RightTip=    0.00,  16.86,  -2.09,  1350.00,   10   // Tank 4
RightAux=   -0.75,  25.49,  -2.03,   910.00,    9   // Aux Right
External2=  -0.75,  25.49,  -7.03,  1400.00,   10   // Ext Right

Hello,

This is the aircraft.cfg, it is similar.

[fuel]
fuel_type=2
number_of_tank_selectors=4
electric_pump=1
fuel_dump_rate=0.00085
engine_driven_pump=0
External1=  -0.75, -25.49,  -7.03,  1400.00,   10   // EXT Left
LeftAux=    -0.75, -25.49,  -2.03,   910.00,    9   // Aux Left
LeftTip=     0.00, -16.86,  -2.09,  1350.00,   10   // Tank 1
Center2=    13.64,   0.00,  -4.19,  1240.00,   10   // Tank 2
Center3=   -20.95,   0.00,  -4.19,  1240.00,   10   // Tank 3
RightTip=    0.00,  16.86,  -2.09,  1350.00,   10   // Tank 4
RightAux=   -0.75,  25.49,  -2.03,   910.00,    9   // Aux Right
External2=  -0.75,  25.49,  -7.03,  1400.00,   10   // Ext Right

I use to fly the C-130 a lot, but never had this problem before. I'm using win7 64bit.

It's identical. The problem have to be somewhere else ... .

What's with the standard payload/fuel dialog? Can't you go to 100% in each tank here?

I can fill it up to 100% in all tanks, but after getting back in the cockpit in a couple of seconds it's out of the tanks again and the aircraft hangs to the right.
If I go back to the fuel dialog I can see that one external tank is at 0% again.

I can fill all my C-130 fuel tanks to 100%, and have it stay like that, with the external and without the external fuel tanks. Undecided

@Vampire: Since when you have this problem? Did you anything mod on your C-130's? Any important changes to your FSX Configuration in the last time?

Happy New Year
I observe a fuel calculation error in the FSX Fuel&Cargo calculation table.
Using C130J and setting all fuel to 0 (zero) FSX calculate Fuel of 18090 lbs. Using other aircrafts the calculation result is correct zero

Can't confirm this. I get always 0, no matter witch C-130 model I use.
