This provides a balanced look with no banding. Landing lights on wing root are separate from lights on the gear, so you can keep them on up to 10,000 feet. Lights on the gear are extinguished manually by turning off the taxi lights. You're supposed to be able to do this automatically by putting gaugeXX=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_taxi_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light in VC_1 in the panel config, but I can't get it to work. At least now, as long as I remember to turn off the taxi lights after takeoff, I can leave my wing root landing lights one.

light.0 = 1,   0.70,   0.00, -3.90, fx_shockwave_beaconb
light.1 = 1,  40.00,   0.30, 10.57, fx_shockwave_beaconh_nl
light.2 = 4,  67.00,   2.00,  5.19, fx_shockwave_vclight
light.3 = 4,  67.00,   -2.00,  5.19, fx_shockwave_vclight
light.4 = 5,  15.35,   7.35,  0.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_short
light.5 = 5,  15.35,  -7.35,  0.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_short
light.6 = 7, -17.00, -55.00,  2.50, fx_shockwave_navred
light.7 = 7, -17.00,  55.00,  2.50, fx_shockwave_navgre
light.8 = 2, -19.00, -61.50,  7.00, fx_shockwave_strobe_l
light.9 = 2, -19.00,  61.50,  7.00, fx_shockwave_strobe_l
light.10 = 8, 13.40, -17.47, 3.40, cs757_edge
light.11 = 8, 13.40, 17.47, 3.40, cs757_edge
light.12 = 6, 58.50,  0.00, -5.50, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow
