Why not just leave the Autopage ON when you select waypoints 4to5? Or is that until you make your change (or made the change the first time it happened), that you plan to switch the pages manually?

I tried to replicate your error, but when I selected waypoints 4to5, clicked on select, then clicked on the Autopage button, the Autopage button turned on, but was green instead of yellow. P3D v3.3 did not crash to desktop.

To make myself more clear:
The problem occurs, when I am already in "yellow" autopage mode and ProATCX adjusts the waypoint-route automatically by itself (adding the STAR waypoints...) after entering the approach-phase in ProATCX.

Obviously the case, that a third software changes the waypoint-route by itself in-flight is not error-handled by the code of CS L-1011.

ProATCX is obviously not compatible with the Captain Sim INS, or vice-versa. Sad

The MCH hold button does nothing.

The way I use the AP on this bird I us IAS hold to control climb. I'll set the throttles to a good climb thrust then let the AP control pitch to maintain IAS.

Once you start getting higher than FL180 or so IAS gets harder and harder to maintain because of the thin air. You cannot maintain 320 IAS at cruise altitude. Luckily you can just switch to MCH speed as that is better to use at altitude. The problem is the MCH spd hold button does nothing.

Hi.
I'm unable to use correctly INS. In few words, I'm unable to insert West coordinates and also CIVA doesn't register waypoint after insert.
I red that 707 CIVA had a similar problem, and use find solution with correctin the panel.cfg file.
Is the same for L-1011???
P.S.: using P3D v3.1

I don't know why it isn't able to accept West coordinates. It should.

Normally, I create a fly plan with the default FSX Flight Planner, FSC 9, or PFPX, and load them, and the L-1011 INS automatically has the coordinates for the route. Every now and then, I manually enter the coordinates into the INS for a flight, and I've never had them not be accepted.

I remember that Tanya was asking for sources to prove that something is wrong with CS plane.
Below you will find a link to real L1011 test flight where you can see real timing for engine start up, APU start up and so on.
I think this video, even quality is poor is valuable source of info, and maybe CS will utilize it and bring L1011 closer to reality.

First of all i must say that i love L1011, and my list below is only to make this plane better - no mean or negative background from my side.
Ok, as Tanya said - to report issues and improvement proposals.

Let's start with IMPROVEMENTS:
1. Existing sound set could be better, more beefy sound of
    mighty RB211, missing pack/fan sounds
2. Missing TCAS gauge - airliners compulsory equipment
3. Overhead panel lighting combined with flood light - would be
    nice to have those separated
4. Taxi/landing lights - would be nice to have those custom
    made. not default FSX style
5. Nav / beacon / strobe - would be nice to have ground
    reflections of those
6. Pedestal fuel cut off switches - should be OFF by default
7. APU and engine start timing - would be nice to have those
customized instead default ( unrealistic ) start up. Link to
real start up movie just above this post
8. Tool tips - would be nice if those will show values - not need
to zoom to read small numbers on gauges
9. Each and every engine parameter is same for each and every
engine, which is not realistic, as in real life every engine has
    slightly different working parameters
10. Would be nice to hear rattles when taxi and all sort of
sounds coming from undercarriage and body during high
speed run - it will greatly improve immersion
11. More functionality from CS GPS - VOR names and
      frequencies, airports, ILS data etc.

ISSUES:
1. Hydraulic system - even if switch off everything,
plane flies normally. control surfaces works normally. When
system is not pressurized ( on the ground ), control surfaces
should drop under own weight, CS L1011 does not behave
    like that
2. Pneumatic system - can fly FL300 with system off,
and there is no single warning. During flight can switch off Hi
press, but lights still blinking and duct pressure indicators still
    show 30psi.
3. Air brake is "linked" with throttles - every time when extend
    air brake throttle move forward
4. Ground friction - seems to be way to "sticky", like there is no
inertia. When reduce power, plane stops within seconds.
5. Flaps drag - seems to be way to big ( there is already
unofficial mod, but would be nice if CS will reconsider this
    issue )
6. A/T - rapidly jumps forward and backward trying to chase
even smallest speed change which is unrealistic. Can notice
    such behaviour in stormy conditions.
Question - should descends be idle power ? - noticed that
even during 1900 ft/min descend throttles are 2/3 forward to
    maintain speed
7. A/P - it seems that A/P has no prediction - sharp corners
should be initiated earlier than shallow ones. CS L1011 during
sharp turns is way off route
8. After touch down front wheel stay up for a very long time. As
seen on real plane movies, it does not happen - reason ?
9. No visible source of flood light - can see light, but where is
lamp which emits that light ?
10. Wing anti-ice - when set to auto, works all the time,
     regardless of weather conditions
11. ACE - 'KG' option does not work, wrong values are given to
      P3D
12. Wing flood light - does not exist, even there is working
      switch
13. Wing landing light - when only one switched ON, can see
light halo on both sides of fuselage
14. Nose wheel landing light - when ON gives fuselage halo even
      wing lights are off
15. A/P MACH hold - does not work
16. Flap indicator has no 27deg flap position, but flap handle has
      such position
17. Decision Height - not sure, but why can set only 499ft ?.
     Many airports have higher DH
18. On high altitudes it happens to have both black engine
smoke and evapor white traces at the same time - which is
     not realistic and never happens.
19. Still from time to time have engine sounds even engines are
off ( that is old issue )

I think enough for now  Wink.
Would be great to have feedback from CS, really hope that CS will publish another service pack, and L1011 will get closer and closer to real thing.
