Nice one Bruce!

Hi all, greetings from down-under.

This is a pretty old thread but since I cannot start a new topic I will see what happens here.

I bought CS Weapons about 2 weeks ago and, although I have been using Acceleration for at least 8 years, CS Weapons set me up as though I was using SP2.

I have overcome that and have successfully used CS Weapons with 6 Third Party aircraft (Mustang III, Mosquito,  Mig 29,  EE Lightning, ME 262, and Tornado).

I have been dropping bombs from high altitude since 2007 when the Sykes pack arrived on the scene using an adaption of a bomb sight I developed for CFS1.  Its restricted to one altitude and one speed.

Then I found the Bomb Computer and have adjusted that to drop our Tallboy, Grandslam and 1000 lb GP bombs from our 617 Sqd Lancasters.

The accuracy of the computerised drop does not approach the accuracy of my manual sight.   Very disappointed in that outcome as I thought it would solve the "singles" of the CFS1 idea.

Improving the accuracy by changes to the Weapons xml has shown the impact to not be repeatable or as accurate as the manual sight is.

I just wondered if anyone else is interested in dropping bombs accurately on targets ranging from the Tirpitz to the S boat pens, V2 rocket site at Wizerness etc etc of WW II.

Thanks for any comments or contacts that may result.
