You're welcome.

I hope it helps you with learning how to fly the 767, which is still a Captain Sim favourite of mine. Grin

excellent Tutorial. Congratulations.
But one question: how do you calculate the CG?
I found the table to receive value for Stab Trim settings which are referred to CG too.

In the 767, I always use 28. I rarely change the ZFW of the 767, I only change the fuel required for the trip. Undecided

Quickly, on the topic of the FMC, how can you import a flight plan, say made in Simbrief?

I tried looking for the folder to put the flight plan in, and I think I found it, but the FP did not show up in the FMC.

-Side note- I am not able to start topics on the forum, for say this question. Does anyone know what I must do to be able to do that?

If Simbrief can save the flight plan in the FSX Flight Plan format, the FMC can load it. You will need to save it in the (My) Documents\Flight Simulator X Files folder for the FMC/CDU to see/load it. Do NOT include the SID/STAR/TRANS in the route, as the FMC will not see them as that! Add them using the DEP/ARR pages.

As stated above, they need to be saved in the (My) Documents\Flight Simulator X Files folder.

-Side note - You can only create a new Topic after you have reached 10 posts. Until then, ask your question(s) in a Topic that is closest to matching your problem(s). This is Captain Sim's Anti-Spam measure. It's not ideal, but it is theirs, and it won't be changed anytime soon. Wink

Another oberservation referred FMC and Flight Route RTE LEG Page.
I created an flightplan started at Dep RWY and SID, next included the Flight Plan and finished with ARR Rwy and transition. But STAR was not available.
If I scrolled through the LEG-Page the route finished at the last waypoint but not at the ARR Airport RWY.

Have a read of this:

Fix for missing T/D in CDU/FMS*

and see if it helps sort out the problem.

*It's a known bug in the Captain Sim 767, and 757. Sad

Sorry, it was not helpful.
But I found a intermediate way.
I look on the charts an add the waypoints by hand.
If Transitions added from the program it is absolut necessary to combine chart and FMC-RTE-Map waypoint by waypoint.
Sometimes there are waypoints added which are not known

Hello,

First of all, thanks to Markoz for this great Tutorial  Smiley

The reason because I read it, is that because I always load a Standard-FSX-Plan into the FMC.

BUT, before each waypoint (between ~50 to 120 nm) LNAV disenages and the plane turns uncontrolled to the right or left. In this case I have to quickly switch to "HDG SEL" to stay on course.

When the next WP was passed and I reengage LNAV all works fine til to the next WP  Undecided

Any idea what is going wrong? Can it have to do with that I load the plan also as "normal" into the Sim (not only into the FMC)?

I don't care about SID or STARS, I only want to follow my own created Waypoints between 2 airports.

I don't know if this will help any of the recent posters with weird behavior from the 767 Captain, but I had weird stuff happening with the plane until I started re-loading it once for every flight.

I really don't know why it veers off the route, it always follows it for me. Undecided

I just competed a flight in the 767 from KSEA to KSFO.  Started the default flight supplied by Captain Sim, 767 at KSEA runway 34R.  Then changed the flight plan to a previously saved flight to San Francisco.  This is the first flight I have made in the 767 since installing FSX Steam.  Had no problems during the flight - it followed all the heading changes programmed into the FMS.  Made an auto landing at KSFO.  I monitor the VAS, and use Plan-G on a networked computer to aid in situational awareness.  Also use Active Sky 2016 for real-time weather.

So when running FSX-SE the 767 has no problems following the flight plan

After switching from the E-767 GE to the 767-300 PW all works fine with my own created loaded flight plan. I don't know what was the error, but now the plane doesn't interrupt LNAV  Cheesy

It would be helpful to know what the CDU/AP really have to know to follow a flight plan with LNAV. I don't get this "COMPLETE" Message shown on your TUT-Pic No. 16 - but it works for now  Smiley

I need the CDU only for the waypoints itself - Takeoff and Landing is the task of the Flight Captain - me  Cool

Another observation referred to Trim
If you enter f. e. 30 for CG FMC calculate 30 for trim . But the correct value has to be -30 (minus 30).
If you set the trim to 30 your aircraft stalls after T/O

Thanks, but this is irrelevant for me. I take off the airplane (including optimal trim) not the ap, the FMC or someone else  Wink

It is only important to know about the V-Speeds. I have this V-Speed-Datacard Addon, so no problem.
