I would assume that you just add a second Adeu gauge in the [Window08] section. Like this:

[Window08]
size_mm=500,101
background_color=16,16,16
window_pos=0.300, 0.416
position=8
visible=0
ident=11042
no_luminous=1
gauge00=../civa/INS!Adeu1, 0, 0, 250, 101
gauge01=../civa/INS!Adeu2, 250, 0, 250, 101

Note. This is using the CIVA_panel.cfg as the file to make the changes in.

Hi all!

I've got a thing and I'm not sure if this is default behavior or something is wrong.

I've installed the Civa INS (1.51) and renamed CIVA_panel to panel.
If I start FSX and switch to 2D view (F10) I can open the pop-up CIVA panels and initialize everything.
However; my shift keys stops working. I can't open any windows with shift-1, shift-2, etc. If I try to press shift-z (to get my current position), the autopilot is activated (default behavior of the Z key).

Also, looking around through the cockpit while holding the spacebar and moving my mouse doesn't work either.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Derk

I'm getting the same issue.
I've already tried moving the Civa INS gauge lines in panel.cfg around to have it initialize right as the plane loads, but it hasn't worked.

I just fixed it!

Disabling the in-game Steam Overlay seems to have fixed the issue. It seems that it happens with a few other addons, too, according to other forums.

Hope this helps!

Strange bug using the CIVA panel.cfg

Hi captains!
I've recently purchased the 707 captain.
I decided to use the civa ins.
So:
I have already installed the delco carousel civa ins v1.51
Renamed the CIVA INS panel.cfg to panel.cfg as mentioned here:
"1. Backup (rename) original panel.cfg file in ...\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B707-300\panel\ folder.
2. Rename civa_panel.cfg file to panel.cfg file."
But doing this i cant move anymore the view using space + mouse movement, i cant use any of 2D panels (if i press Shift + 1, in example, nothing happens).
If i restore the "original" panel.cfg everythings works as intended.
Any clues?
Thanks in advance
Alessio

Make sure everything about the CIVA INS panel.cfg is the exact same as the regular one.

The only difference between the two, if I recall correctly, is that one has some lines for the CIVA INS 2D panel "elements" tacked onto the bottom of the list of 2D panel items.

Backing up the original panel.cfg, then renaming the CIVA_panel.cfg to panel.cfg, should allow everything to work properly. You will need to go to the 2D Cockpit (the default keyboard shortcut is F10) to initialise the CIVA INS so it works.

Note - I moved the gauge04=../civa/INS!Config, 0, 0, 0, 0, csx701
from [Window00], and added it to [VCockpit01] gauge27=../civa/INS!Config, 0, 0, 0, 0, csx701, so that the CIVA INS initialises as soon as the 707 is loaded into FSX, without the need to press F10 to initialise it.

I tried doing a fresh reinstallation of FSX before reinstalling the 707 and Civa INS. No luck.

Although, I have the sneaking suspicion that having the A2A C172 might be related to it. Stupid move on my part, but I guess I should have installed and tested the 707 before installing the 172.

I dont have the A2A 172 but i still have the civa issue. I don't think its related to the 172

I fixed it a few days ago. It seems that I went to every thread I knew except this one when I went to go post the solutions, lol

Are you running FSX:SE (or FSX Boxed through Steam)? If so, try disabling the Steam Overlay on FSX.

Thanks for the fix! At least I now know why I never encountered this problem with FSX-SE - It's because I can't stand the Steam Overlay, and have had it turned off for all games, since soon after installing Steam on my PC! Grin Grin

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere, that the Delco CIV-A INS doesn't work in Windows 10. So if your using Windws 10, then that might explain why it isn't working. Sad

It seems that after a long period of nothing happening with it, after 10 years, they now have a 1.60 BETA version, so you might want to try it:

Delco CIV-A INS v1.60 BETA 3

This might just be what you need to use to get it working.  Undecided
