	open wx rdr utility, and add it to the cs 767. thats it! just turn on the radar in the 67 and click on WX. Turn on some T-storms for some nice red and yellow colors

	I guess I'm an idiot. I read manuals I and II as directed in KB3771. In I there is a reference to wx rdr becoming available in version 1.2. In manual II the image on page 85 shows the wx control panel as item 11 on the control stand. The text description below the image shows P11 Radar Control Panel as the first item on the aft control stand. When I scroll down to P11 in the text descriptions it shows Fuel Control Panel on the Control Stand. The next section for the aft control stand is P15, P24 P26 VHF Control Panel. The radar control panel P11 doesn't appear anywhere. Also, I can't find the wx rdr utility. I downloaded and installed version 1.2 but I don;t find it there. Is it a separate download from some other section of the Captain Sim site? I'm sure I',m missing something obvious, please help.

	The 767 manuals I have with the new update have in Manual 2 has the Wx panel listed as P11 on the AFT Aisle Stand but when you scroll down to P11 it shows the Fuel Control Switches Panel.The panel should be the P11 Radar Control Panel which is also the wx radar panel.Any idea where this information is now found as I have been through all 5 manuals and can not find it? JeffG

	I kept trying things with the wx control panel (1 of the 2D panels) and finally figured out that wx radar did install with 1.2 and does work. Open the 2D panel, hit the PWR button and then the TEST button. You should see a rainbow scan once across the HSI. I don't know if this is the right order, but then I hit the WX button, which lit up, and then I had to hit PWR again until it stayed on. I still didn't have any weather returns even though I could see CBs in the area, so during the climb I turned up the gain to 5 and the tilt knob to -3 and viola, I had the weather returns. I tried WXA and got the same returns, so I don't know what the difference is between WX and WXA. I guess I'll find out when the manuals are updated. Hope this helps others.

	"A" adds black flashing to accentuate potentially dangerous returns. I spent quite a bit of time with the old Weather Radar, which will be included in my 767 review. There is something of a simple art to using range and tilt to find the tops of the high stuff. Mostly you'll be flying above it anyway during cruise. I haven't seen many 56,000 foot tops like the Air France Airbus ran into in FSX.

	i have the same problem i cant put it on like you get it as a exclusive thing with 767 right so it should be there how DO YOU TURN IT ON??

Once you turn it ON, you will need to wait a minute or two before anything shows. The 767 manuals can be downloaded here http://www.captainsim.com/products/b767/manuals.html, if you don't have them yet. When on the ground, I use a TILT of 0 (zero), when in level flight, a TILT of about -3 to -5 and when descending, a TILT of 0 (zero) to +3. For every change of ange of the TILT, you need to wait for the radar sweep before you might see anything. Hopefully, this will allow you to see the weather in the WXR. To practising using the TILT, I recommend you start a flight using the FSX weather theme Major thunderstorms, so you can find out which TILT settings suit you the best.
