For the Captain Sim 757 aircraft in Flight Simulator 2004 by Microsoft.

240 Airports
1182 SIDs
1515 STARs
2560 IAPs

It`s a joke, right?
Why dont you Captain sim communicate with the NAVIGRAPH.
They are willing to do database for CS757, but they need some instructions.
Yours plane is beautiful, but without airac from navigraph is useless, like a empty Matriochka(матрёшка)

So please do something about it

By the way :

For : LEPA (Palma de Mallorca)
On the Airports.db

add :

24;LEPA;39.3310;2.73333

on the Runways.db

add :

LEPA;3;110.9;39.547147;10725;2.710728;06L;059
LEPA;3;0;39.541256;9842;2.731739;06R;059
LEPA;3;109.3;39.555339;9842;2.761528;24L;239
LEPA;3;109.9;39.562503;10725;2.743194;24R;239

Now you can start from or Go to LEPA Palma de Mallorca !

NAVDATA BASE FILE NOT FOUND

Hello,

Maybe somebody can help me with this topic.

I just bought 757 for FS9 and installed succesfully.
However if i start up the fmc i get the following message:

  NAVDATA BASE FILE NOT FOUND

Is it also possible to load FSBuild files in the 757?

Thanks in advance,

Wim Mourits

Hi

If you are using fsbuild 2.3,you can export your flightplans to FS9/FSX and then import form the FMC.

Assuming you have installed everything in the normal areas, the filepath should be:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Captain_Sim\navigation

That folder should contain the following files:
.DBs:
Airports
Airways
Fixes
IAPs
Navaids
Runways
SIDs
STARs

.LDBs
NavData

.CFGs
b757

The folder should also contain a 'routes' folder for saved FMC routes.

If it doesn't, the best fix would be to remove all 757 components and reinstall.

Cheers,
Kyle

I've installed the 757 to FS9 and when I input my dep/arr airports the waypoints are not labled by name, rather by lat/long coordinates.  How can I get my waypints to be labled by name?

Frankly, the only thing preventing me from buying CS's 757 is the lack of NAVDATA support.

Captain Bob, if you're that worried about navdata, I would wait until they patch the fmc, because right now even with the best navdata, the fmc is unusable if you alter your flight plan very much, along the lines of what you would do during typical real world operations.

I've actually had to put this puppy in the hanger until they fix it.
