I have noticed the cockpit windows look too big for 757 windows, almost like they were taken directly from the 767.

This is a bizarre comment. The upper part of the nose section is indeed identical between the two types. To my knowledge the same parts are used for the cockpit windows on both aircraft in reality. On what do you base your comment?

The cockpit windows on a 757 are not the same size of those on the 767 by the way.  And I base my comment on the pictures of the CS 757, the windows look like 767 windows.

Pilot53,

We were both right and both wrong.  Wink

"The No.1 windows, which are made in England, are the same for both the 757 and 767. There are two of them, one on the right side and one on the left. They are flat. The side windows, known as Nos.2. and 3, are curved and differ between the two airplanes because their fuselages have different shapes.

The narrower 757 has smaller No. 2 and 3 windows and they are closer to the pilots' shoulders. But Boeing shaped and positioned them so that they give essentially the same field of view as the larger and more distant side windows on the 767."

See: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/news/business/757/part03/

They look dead on to me.

Cheers
